What is the IBM Internet Connection

The University of Florida has signed an agreement with IBM Global Network which will allow UF faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends to subscribe to the IBM Internet Connection for Education (ICE) at discounted monthly rates. This service provides Internet dialup and email to subscribers and family members.  It offers local calling all over the world, including many sites in Florida, and 800 number calling where local calls aren't offered.  Many dialup numbers now support high speed 56 KB connections.
