The UF VPN Project is a service that allows you to build a secure "virtual" network connection between your computer and the UF core network. This type of VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection is commonly known as a remote access or tunnel mode VPN. When using this VPN connection, your computer appears as if it were on the UF core network. This also allows you to gain access to external resources from off campus (such as library databases,) that are based on UF source addresses.
