DHNet is the Division of Housing's Ethernet fiber optic computer network. It allows access the University of Florida's campus-wide network and the Internet with some restrictions. High speed internet access is provided through this service.
The first time you use your computer on Housing's network and open your browser software, your browser will be redirected to a Housing page with instructions on how to connect to the network.
To connect to the Housing's DHNet network port:
Your computer will need a 10Base T or 10/100BaseT network adapter (ethernet card) and the appropriate software installed. A category 5 patch cable will also be required to connect your computer to the access port.
