You should be aware of the following recommendations prior to installing Netscape 9.0:

 


IV. How Do I Install Netscape 9.0?

    1. Begin by clicking the Install Button at the top of this page

    2. The Netscape 9.0 setup wizard will begin, click Next to continue



    3. The Netscape 9.0 setup wizard will then prompt for the liscense agreement, click Next to continue



    4. The Netscape 9.0 setup wizard will then prompt for your setup type. Either Custom or Standard (Standard is the default and the one suggested), click Next to continue



    5. The Netscape 9.0 setup wizard will then install Netscape 9.0 on your computer, you do not need to click any buttons.



    6. The Netscape 9.0 setup wizard will then complete the install and click Finish to use the program

V. How Do I Get Product Updates?

Netscape 9.0 is developed through Netscape Communications Corporation and is under constant development. The latest versions of this program are available at the following locations:

  • Netscape's Home Page at http://home.netscape.com/.

  • On the UF Software CD -- However, the UF Software CD, which is distributed through the University of Florida Bookstore, is only updated about every quarter and therefore may not have the most current version.
