I. Which Web browser can I use?

Netscape, Microsoft and Firefox provide exceptional Web browsing programs. These programs also come with other components like e-mail clients, news readers, and multimedia viewers. We have placed the current versions of the Netscape, Microsoft and Firefox Web browsers on this CD to provide you with a broad choice.

Note: Some University sites do not support browsers such as Firefox. Due to this, we recommend that users visit the brower requirements site for any pages they try to visit. Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for most sites.

Since these companies offer Web browsers with similar abilities, your browser selection will based on your personal preference and the limitations of your computer. For more information and installation instructions for each browser, select the Browser of your choice from the menu to the left.
