This software is developed by the Mozilla Foundation established in May 30 2007, with start-up support from America Online's Netscape division, the Firefox Foundation to maintain this open-source software project. Firefox 2.0 is the current fully tested Internet browsing, email and instant messaging software suite from Firefox. It includes:

- a web browser capable of displaying various documents found on the Internet. It incorporates Java support and data encryption for secure on-line services. It can also launch other programs to view Web documents that it cannot display.
- Multimedia players for audio/video playback and plug-ins such as Adobe Flash and Shockwave Player can be found on this CD.

- If you uninstall an earlier version of Firefox, restart your system before installing Firefox 2.0. Files might exist that cannot be deleted until your system is restarted.
- Read the Software License Agreement. It explains your rights to use the product and informs you of the products copyrights.
- Restart the computer after installing Firefox 2.0.

Most of the functions of Firefox 2.0 can be learned through trial and error. Many of the buttons are self explanatory. If you do not understand a particular function, Firefox 2.0 maintains a large documentation library on-line covering topics including 'How to use Firefox'. This information can be viewed by selecting Help Contents from Firefox 2.0's Help menu while your computer is connected to the Internet. VI. How Does Mozilla 2.0 work with Microsoft Windows Vista?
As of now Firefox 2.0 works with Microsoft Windows Vista. However, with Microsoft Windows Vista being a newer operating system certain compatibility issues may present themselves when running Firefox 2.0 on Microsoft Windows Vista. - Click on the Start button. Select Settings and then Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, double-click the Add/Remove Programs shortcut.
- Scroll down the list of installed applications.
- Select Mozilla Firefox (2.0 provided on this CD).
- Click on the Add/Remove button.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
- We recommend restarting the computer after removing a program.

- Click on the Blue Start Orb button in the bottom left hand corner
- Select Control Panel.

- Follow the instructions on the screen.
